    Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

    Day 1 of the Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech starts when we meet you in the airport at your arrival time. We start the tour by visiting Hassan II Mosque, the second biggest mosque after Mecca. Then, we drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here, you will have the opportunity to see the Kasbah Oudaya and the Mausoleum. An overnight stay awaits you in a Riad.

    Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Fes

    After breakfast in the Riad, you will travel to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes. In Meknes, you will see the fascinating gate of Bab Mansour, which is built by Sultan My Ismail to be the most beautiful gate in Morocco. You will also see the Sahrij Souani used for irrigation and plantation.

    After lunch, you will head to Volubilis. It is the well-preserved Roman Empire dating to 225BC where some mosaics as still in very good shape. Our journey continues to Fes via the remote village of Zgouta on the foothills of the Rif Mountains. You will spend night two of the Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech in a Riad.

    Day 3: Fes – Azrou – Midelt

    After breakfast, you will begin your guided tour of the Medina, one of the world’s largest walled-in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. You will also pay a visit to the Kings Palace, the tanneries, and Fassi potters.

    After lunch will begin your ascent across the Middle Atlas Mountains. On day 3 of the Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. You will stay in a hotel for the night.

    Day 4: Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga 

    After an early breakfast, we continue on the mountain roads overlooking the wide-flowing Oued Ziz. Passing Kasbahs and palm groves, we go through the adobe-colored city of Er-rachidia and arrive in the late afternoon at Merzouga, which is a city on the outskirts of the Sahara Desert.

    Later in the afternoon, you will saddle your camels to take us across the desert during a beautiful sunset for about 2 hours. You will reach your camp where you will be sleeping for the night by the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. The plans for your night look like this: slumber in the Nomad tent, a night full of stars, Berber music, and delicious food prepared for you by your guide. It is going to be a night that you will not forget.

    Day 5: Merzouga Rissani – Todra Gorges-Dades Valley

    After breakfast, you will return by camel to the 4x4s and head back to Erfoud. From Erfoud, you set out behind the High Atlas Mountains en route to the Todra Gorges. In the afternoon, you will take a walk up in the towering Todra Gorges (600 feet high).

    The picturesque river valleys make for a beautiful journey toward the southeast of Morocco. Then, continue your journey towards another impressive gorge Dades passing the strange rock creation of Tamnalt Hills. For the night, you will stay in a Riad in the Dades Gorge lined by red and mauve rock.

    Day 6: Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

    After an early breakfast, you will set off towards the High Atlas Mountains via Ouarzazate. Tucked away in the High Atlas Mountains, it is one of the jewels of Morocco…Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. In typical Moroccan fashion, the true treasures must be searched out and discovered…usually off the beaten path.

    In fact, this setting has been used for more films than any other location in Morocco; films including, Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, and recently The Gladiator were all shot there. Lunch can be taken at Ait Ben Haddou.  In the afternoon, you will head over the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech where you will spend your night.

    Day 7: Exploring Marrakech – Essaouira

    After breakfast in the Riad, you can start exploring Marrakech ” the red city of Morocco”.  Your guide will ensure that you see the most important places of historical and cultural interest: including the Saadian tomb, the Palaces of El Bahia and El Badi as well as the Ben Youssef Coranique School.

    Lunch will be served in a restaurant near the square. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the gardens at Majorelle, Menara, and the Koutoubia tower. After lunch, we’ll then drive to Essaouira where you’ll spend a wonderful evening experiencing the local culture. An overnight stay awaits you in a hotel/Riad.

    Day 8: Essaouira – transfer to the airport

    After breakfast in your Riad, you’ll have a tour of Essaouira’s medina. You will see the souks and the famous port before the drive back to the airport to catch your flight back home. That is where our Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech ends.
