We begin our Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech by picking you up from your hotel in Fes to depart toward the South of Morocco. You will stop in Ifrane, the Switzerland of Morocco, to enjoy and picture its beauty. In Midelt, we will have a lunch meal in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the pass of TIZI N TALGHAMT to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz Gorges.
Later on, you will have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz Valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud (the latter is famous for fossils and dates) where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop.
After that, you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi. These dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. By the end of the day, you arrive at the hotel where you will have dinner and sleep for the night.
On the morning of Day 2 of the Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech, you will have breakfast in the hotel. Then, you will have a tour of the dunes on a 4×4 vehicle allowing you to visit:
Then, you will have a break for lunch in Merzouga or Hassi Labied. Afterward, you will see the canal irrigation system and have a walk on the oasis located at the foot of the dunes. We continue to your hotel where you can get ready for a camel trek for an hour and a half to watch the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight stay in a traditional nomad tent where you will also have dinner.
Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can shower. We depart towards Tineghir passing by Erfoud and Tinejdad to have a break for lunch.
In the afternoon, we will continue to Todgha Gorges via Tineghir. We will be stopping along the way for photos to admire the scenic views. Upon your arrival at Todra Gorges, you will get to enjoy its marvelous canyon views while hiking on foot. Later on, we drive to Boumalne du Dades and stop for a panoramic view of Dades Valley. Dinner will be served at the hotel where you will be staying for the night.
On the morning of day 4 of our Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech, and after breakfast in the hotel, we depart to Ouarzazate via Boutghrar, Kalaa M’gouna, and Skoura. We visit the Dades Gorges with its beautiful rock formations. Later on, we take the road that leads to nomad families living in caves. In there, we have a break and sip a cup of tea in their shelter.
Later on, we cross the road and drive along the valley of roses to reach Kalaa M’gouna where you will enjoy your lunch. In the afternoon, we drive to Skoura and visit the 17th-century Kasbah of Amridil. The journey ends in Ouarzazate where you will have dinner and sleep for the night.
After breakfast in the hotel, you will have time to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt. We will also stop near the Atlas film studios to take pictures. After that, you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and stop for lunch in a local restaurant in the village.
In the afternoon, we will stop by the Kasbah of Telouet. Then, we continue to the Red City of Marrakech over the mountains of High Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude).
