Our 5-Day Marrakech Itinerary allows you to go sightseeing around so many scenic towns and villages of the Moroccan Sahara desert. You will be taken on a multiple-day discovery of the Erg Chebbi desert dunes on 4×4 to both unleash your inner adventurer and admire the panoramic views of the golden sand dunes. The 5-Day Marrakech Itinerary starts with a pick-up from Marrakech to Zagora, crossing High Atlas and Tizi-Ntichka, which has 2260 meters in altitude. We stop to visit Ouarzazate, Kasbah Taourirt, and palm groves valley D’Aara. Arrival in Zagora is expected to be in the afternoon. Later, you will check in at your hotel.
On day 2 of the Marrakech Itinerary, you will have a full day on the track having rides on 4×4 to explore the Erg Chebbi desert dunes. We will pick you up from your hotel and drop you off at your hostel where you’ll be staying for the night. The highlights of the ride on the 4×4 include:
After breakfast, we will depart from the hostel by Jeep to visit the country of “Black People” and to listen to their music. Later on in the afternoon, we will leave the 4×4 and 8×8 (camels) to cross the great Erg Chebbi desert dunes. An overnight stay awaits you in the desert in tents to admire the vibes of Merzouga and Erg Chebbi. The stars, moon, sunset, and dawn can all be watched right from your desert camp.
After a tasty local breakfast on the fourth day of the Marrakech Itinerary, we return to the village to take a hot and relaxing shower in a hostel and continue the tour. We’ll follow the track in Erg Chebbi up to a Berber village called Erfoud. Then, we’ll reach Tinjdad and Tinghir. In here, we visit the exquisite palm groves, Todra Gorges, and Dades gorges. Finally, we will spend the night at a hotel in the Dades Gorges.
Early morning, we will take the road to Marrakech through the mesmerizing Dades Valley (it is a green valley known as the “Valley of Roses”), where we’ll visit the palm groves and Sakoura Kasbat, also called Imridil. We continue in the same direction until we reach Ouarzazate, where we will visit a beautiful Kasbah called Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, which is UNESCO World Heritage Site. Crossing the High Atlas Mountains, we’ll arrive in Marrakech where the journey ends.
